How does the donation matching integration work?

With Double the Donation integration, donors will be asked if they would like to search for a company match during the donation process. If a donor opts out or does not provide a company, Double the Donation will email them at a later date to see if they would like to search for one.

Double the Donation automatically identifies repeat donors and starts a corporate match automatically.

Each donation from an enabled kiosk will show in the Double the Donation dashboard with matching and email communication status.

How do I connect Kind Kiosk to Double the Donation?

From your Kind Kiosk dashboard, navigate to Settings > Integrations and click "Connect" next to Double the Donation. You'll need your Double the Donation API keys, which you can get from your Double the Donation account.

What information do donors need to provide?

Donors need to provide their work email address and the company name. Double the Donation will automatically determine match eligibility.

How many companies are in the matching gift database?

Double the Donation maintains a database of over 20,000 companies that offer matching gift programs. This covers the vast majority of Fortune 500 companies and many smaller organizations.
