Setting up your Handheld Device

This guide will help you set up the handheld device. If you get stuck, just use the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of our website, give us a call/text atΒ 858-264-3999, or email at support@kindkiosk.com.

Step 1: Plug in the handheld

The charging cable should be included. If you have a dock, the charging cable will plug into the bottom.

Step 2: Turn it on

The handheld will boot up with a Stripe loading screen.

Step 3: Connect to WiFi

You should be prompted to connect to a WiFi network. If you are asked for a pin number to access settings, contact us, and we will give it to you. Once connected, the device may download a required update.

Step 4: Make a test donation

You should see your logo and suggested donation amounts. You are ready to make a test donation! πŸŽ‰

To change branding, layouts, amounts, or other settings visit the web dashboard.

Changing your configuration

Our handhelds do not yet support live update of kiosk configurations. If you update something using our web dashboard, you'll need to tell it to refresh.

To refresh the data, open the admin panel by tapping 5x in the bottom right corner. Use the pin listed in your organization dashboard on our website. If you're not near a computer, you can call or text us at 858-264-3999 and we can provide this to you!
