What should I set my suggested donation amounts to?

It really depends on your organization and your audience—but one thing we’ve seen is that many organizations tend to set their suggested amounts a little too low.

Don’t be afraid to aim a bit higher! Donors can always enter a lower amount using the custom amount feature.

Consider the size of your donor base and how many of them need to give to hit a goal.

Here are multiple ways to raise $1,000:

• 200 donations of $5
• 100 donations of $10
• 25 donations of $40
• 4 donations of $100, 1 donation of $75, 5 donations of $50, 11 donations of $25

We've seen the biggest increases by organizations raising the lowest donation amount and highest donation amounts.
